Thanks to Chas my respirator came today and I managed to clean it and the battery is on charge, I am so pleased especially as I may have ended up with something nowhere near as good or just packed in turning and casting

I found some videos on youtube and they are really helpful. I also spoke with 3M to try and understand the filters that are available. There is a tremendous price difference for filters from different suppliers so check out prices before you buy filters. If you don't need the organic vapour filters and just need the particulate filters they are much cheaper, I have ordered some so that I can save the organic filters for casting.
