I want to get a compressor for a pressure pot

But I have know idea what kind, don't have any experience with them.

I know i probably can't afford a quiet Bambi ...

70 psi is the max I think the tank can take, but from what I understand most people don't go above 50 ..

Any advice ???

Compressors are all about air flow and how much air you want to take per minute, measured in CFM, or cubic feet per minute. If you intend to use air tools they need to be compatible with the amount of air the compressor can deliver. For pumping air into a pressure pot you shouldn't need a high flow rate so a 24litre tank or less should be more than adequate.

Try Lidl or Aldi or your local toolstation or screwfix. Tho Lidl spares(hoses and kits) that they have from time to time are good better than the attachments supplies with my compresor

As Ray stated, but it needs to be big enough to get the pressure up quickly as the resin is setting quite fast so a compressor with a tank would be a starting point.

I've got one of these it takes up less space than the 24L horizontal compressors and has worked flawlessly.

I like the look of the SIP it is a space saver & with a 50L tank can be used for other things like shot blasting turnings etc. without introducing water.

Why do you need a compressor... can be done without one..

Mate of mine used to pump his pressure pot up with a car foot pump.

But that's more like hard work and me back would give up..

I used to have a 10bar 50lt 8cfm compressor that was taking up too much room., down sized to and Aldi 24lt, 8 bar tank (paid £85 for it new,), does for everything i need and takes up half the room.

Can't remember what CFM it is but it builds up very quickly.
