I'm thinking of buying a drill sharpener I quite like the look of the Drill Doctor 500x, has anyone got one or have any advice on drill sharpeners.

i have looked a few times, but cant really make it pay for itself. You can buy a lot of replacement drills for what it would cost. I would have been more persuaded if they could convert drills to a point angle designed for plastics, around 90 degrees or a little less, but none of them are able to do this.

I have one and it is the best thing since sliced bread, if it ever breaks down I will buy another. The best thing about it for me is that it will do split point which is what I use on my bits.
