I had a problem with the On/Off switch on my Record BDS150 Sander. I contacted Record via their Web Site and within less than 48 hours a New Switch arrived FOC. Excellent Customer Services from the Record Power Team !

I am now on my 4th switch for exactly the same tool.
Never had an issue 48 hours and a new switch has landed, though they do know they have an issue with them as the seem to fail for a pass time.

Last one that failed I took apart and the small wire running from the control to the power switch was totally burtn out, decided to check the others (yes I kept them) and all exactly the same.

Spoke to Record Technical / Help Line and told them what I found and they said they knew all about it and were trying to source new switches :rolling:
BUT they are still selling them with this dodgy switch & replacing the broken ones with exactly the same replacement.....:thinks:
