1.0m high

250mm deep
1500mm wide

400mm wide at base for stability

all 25mm MDF.

Ill dimension when we have the concept right?

Well in all honesty, It wouldnt be my first choice of material. I feckin hate the stuff. Ply would be my first choice.
But...... It will do the job. in my opinion.

It would need to be glued and screwed, and if he wanted to beef it up... Double up on the end panels.
Most importantly, a coat of varnish to prevent it getting damp.

We'll get some feedback from the customer, before we do a second version.. :whistling:

it took about 15 mins for that..... modern software makes it easy.. :bwink:

What weight of lathe are we talking about guys?
It may need diagonals, or a solid sheet across the back for side to side stability... but it could be stiffened after the manufacture, if required?

I would rather get feedback before I dimension it though... I can give you a cut list from a sheet of 2.440 x 1220 if required, see if it all fits etc..
