    Pen press problems

I have a press, not sure of the make, that is good quality but I have a problem. The white plastic part with the hole in has over time become worn. The hole has enlarged and the pen tip (or in my case pointed part of a light pull kit) gets damaged on the nut in the bottom. Any suggestions as to how to make it longer.

Can you not turn a wooden replacement ? Or even a PTFE one.

    Difficult to know without pics..

Hard to say for sure without seeing the unit but I’d probably turn one from Nylon. Can we see a picture please?

Heck you could even use an ugly acrylic pen blank to make it from.

Is the hole an essential part, for my own usage I gave up using it and pressed in reverse and also put pieces of wood in between to stop any metal to metal contact
