    I'd go with the UJK. You can specify a cast iron table and a phenolic insert for that kind of money.

    Buying a kreg table can be confusing. When i bought my kreg table i am so confused to whether purchase it or not. There was no one who can properly guide me its features, there reviews , their description , their pros and cons.

    I'm pretty sure they are American made and that costs a lot more than Asian import tools.

    As for router tables and my experience over the last 10 years or so.

    I have one, but TBH itís only ever used for wood edge work, like rounding or t&g or specialist edging for corners and rebating for frames.

    The true thing that has versatility for me is a router sled, Home made and can do all of the above and more besides.

    I started off with a very crude wood sliders, then draw bearing runners and then on to rails. So much easier and better control with a plunge router.
    I would say the sled for me is amongst the most used pieces of kit in my workshop. That and the band saw.
