I got this piece of Chestnut from Home of wood and turned it this afternoon it is the largest bowl I have turned since I had my triple bypass Chestnut 20" x 3" and boy did I enjoy it I used me new bowl turning attachment that Vi got me for Christmas I dont think the lathe could cope with anything larger when I was working the outer edge it couldn't cope with deep cuts but I only had the speed genie up to two till I got rid of the bulk of the outer wood other wise it would be come dancing LOL so far it has had 2 coats of sanding sealer I will finish it over the next few days enjoy

Come on, only 20". You could have got another 6 or 8" on that lathe, what you messing at? :rolling::rolling:

Looks good by the way..nice finish and good to see the trade mark bottom shape, pity you haven't put the TVS stamp on it yet tho!
