Yandles Event

I said i would say what their event was like on another post.
There was just one guy doing any turning and he was causing the card readers for purchases to keep dropping out so it did make a bit of a queue to form but nothing serious.
On the up side the shop was huge, it was full of things that made you go 'oh yes just what i need'. The machinery side of this was geared more for the shed person . Their wood selection was huge, i have never seen so many turning blanks and i thought the prices were good. I never got to see the saw mill as it got to the end of my time their.
There is a arts and craft centre where you can let other half browse as i did. My wife was very impressed. They also have a place to get a coffee and something to eat. I never went here either i spent to long in the tool shop.
It was a 200 mile round trip for me and well worth the time to go, i will be going again.

THe distance of 200 miles is about the same as here to Sydney we did every year ,travel time about 3 hrs always worth it. Glad you found it worthwhile Ken..

Mark if you choose to live so remotely there must be some benefits else living there for so long would seem punishment.The flip side it can,t be too long before you head for the hills (Adelaide Hills ie).
