I agree clever turner but my advice is do not try this at home. Primitive gear and holding methods, entertaining like a Circus act..

That's the kind of turning I like:thumbs: I love turning roots and uneven crotch logs, the results are far more interesting.

You are right he does sound a little like Bob Ross, we used to watch Bob Ross and tape his shows on TV when we lived in Japan, great artist.

A good piece of turning but I would have wrapped the outside with duck tape to prevent anything flying off & I wouldn't have parted it off the way he did. He could have damaged himself or the bowl & all that work would have been wasted. I enjoyed the video.
