I was trawling through facebooks marketplace and came across some logs of a decent size for bowl making. They are White Beam and Lime and best of all FREE!!!

Would appreciate some guidance on how to prepare them for drying. I know they need splitting to remove the pith and layed up to air dry, but should i remove the bark. I have done it on one as you can see but that was almost all off anyway. The larger ones are about 16in dia x 14in long with the three smaller one about 8in dia.
