Not sure if this should be in this section but it does pertain to bowl turning, if it should be somewhere else perhaps a mod could move it, and apologies.

I have found a Arborist in West malling Kent, his name is Warren and his mobile is 07828 190 066

He's a really nice guy to deal with and his prices are very reasonable.

I for three huge lumps for £20.00, enough i reckon for four 12in dia bowls * 3 to 4in deep, plus another that will do four small bowls.

Thats handy to know...but i tend to use either Stiles and Bates or Morgans timber......they also machine timber too

I very rarely buy wood for turning as i get mine green a fellow turner gets wood and normally end up with too much
