Acquired a ready glued segmented blank earlier in the year and only just got round to giving it a go.

First go at one of these "squarey bowly thingys", I would be lying if I didn't say there were more than a few "erse clenching" moments while doing the wings, and the less said about the end grain tear out the better, Idigbo and Iroko are the 2 timbers.

200mm x 200mm x 80mm, finished in Danish Oil.

Had a request from a friend for a 14" version with the 4 layers at 90 deg to each other, the blank arrived yesterday, just need to get going, in between the pens that is!!!
