What do I do with it now?

    Morning all,

Remember the bowl I went through the bottom of, well, this is what I did with it.
The problem is, what do I do with it now? I enjoyed doing it and the practice served me well but
I can't see a use for it. Open to any (polite ) ideas of course
I suppose I could stick a tea light in it.

Just a bit of fun. Have a good day.

    Cheers
    Frederick

Years ago when we only had five children we built our own quite extensive chapel over a period of two years, I was working three jobs my trade as a sparkie,4hrs cleaning at a University the pulling petrol at the then Australias busiest servo until the we hours. At the servo we checked oil, water and washed windscreens and rear windows, checked tyre pressures. That was busy.We housed and fed two building missionaries in addition for those two years. Yes I understand busy that was 55 yrs ago.The reason I have repeatability in my life was to overcome sudden bursts of busy ,for example pics of pens to forum about 10 minutes.

I understand and speak children as well.I feel honoured to be blest nigh on 64 yrs ie next month with an incredible wife. Can,t say altogether kind words just a while ago late this afternoon nap time one of our cats nestled up to my chin, heard a noise and flayed my neck and chin with a couple of stripes on the forehead.

I have been busy relocating a VL100 lathe from the freezing workshop into a room I can heat easily and well quickly to enable me to turn again in all weathers. Proof to me that buying a bare lathe and fitting my own variable speed controller to a 1/3 hp three phase motor pays and has provided marvellous consistency over about twenty years now. One of the first VL Lathes from VicMarc Brisbane, I will take some pics in a couple of days when I finish this task.THe motor was chucked out with me able to catch on the first bounce where I worked from service since the 60,s in the roof space serving fume cupboards. I rescued 7 of these fitted them to heaps of equipment over time.LOove the smooth as running of three phase motors, far less vibration etc good torque.

    Kind regards Peter.

    Hello Mark,

I don't mind these things happening and going wrong, but when I make every effort to rectify it and it still happens!!! I then repeat the same operation and it's OK.
I am going to land up in the nut house!!!

    Cheers
