My normal business is very quiet. My main customer is suffering so it affects me as well.
So while I am a bit idle I got to making some stuff for a Xmas fair.
I made a few plain finish bowls and decided to try something different.
Got some Hampshire Sheen colours and waxes and have been trying them out.
The 2 bowls with colour are ash and the plate is beech, mahogany and purpleheart.
Also made some tool handles, a rotary vacuum adapter, an Oland type tool and busy with a sphere jig.

Very nice good to see colouring that don’t overpower the grain

Love them all Phil, done a great job of ll of them.

I guess you are getting electricity more often now then as you are managing to turn and make stuff, along with internet as well.

Thank you all for the nice comments.
Much appreciated.

Eamonn, Have got power at the moment but that could change at any moment.
Last week it was 3 2hr blackouts a day. Makes work difficult.
Have an inverter for the computer so no problem there. Will last for many hours.
As I write this it has gone off.

Geoff: with the current situation I also get 'Grumpier by the day.'

Thanks all.
Phil
