My Granddaughter is Graduating from University in July. Is there a suitable :thinks:pen kit that I could use.

The mistral is a good choice for sure, but it's a heavy pen, according to my daughter (who graduated a few years ago.) She has a couple of other pens I've made - one is a scribe rollerball and the other is a stratus click biro. Her 'go to' pen is the scribe - Axminster has them. Not sure where one could get the stratus. Take a look at the Tempest click biro - a well made work horse of a pen.

Guess it all depends on how often your granddaughter will using it.

A Shakespear IMHO would be very pertinent. TM (and others) supply ballpoint and fountain pen kits. Very classy pens, You couls make one of each; engrave one with her start date and the other for graduation.
Just an idea.

Everything depends on the graduation theme,by that I refer to one ,no many graduates in Dentistry where I have made themed pens, choosing the emphasis on Dental Handpieces etc Like how long is a piece of string more details are vital before commenting or guessing. All the best anyway Glen. Hand sizes, twist, clip, press actions,is it to be a dress pen or work pen or one to sit in a box forever etc.

Peter.

Hi Glen,
I made a pen called the "Duchess pen" for my niece. 24 kt gold with Swarovski crystals in the cap, very girly. Axminster sells them, Code: 102991.
