    50 caliber pens

I have acquired a number of 50 caliber cartridge cases I would like to make a couple of pens out of some of them. Anybody done this before any advice would be appreciated.

I make a lot of 50 cals to accept either Parker or Cross style refills for sale at gun shows.

    You didn’t read the instructions:

“Insert the Bullet Tip Assembly into the Casing and Dowel Insert. To Change the Cross refill twist and pull the bullet to remove the Bullet Tip Assembly from the Dowell Insert. Change the refill and push and twist the Bullet Tip Assembly back into the Dowell Insert and check twist operation.”

    Or for the Parker refill:

“Insert the Bullet Tip Assembly into the Casing and Dowel Insert. To Change the refill unscrew the bullet Tip counter clockwise and change refill and spring. Reinstall by pushing bullet tip into casing against spring tension and screw in clockwise until transmission engages to retract refill tip. Check double twist action.”

It’s well worth saving those PDF’s.
