I know the tree but only in an ornamental setting, where it is coppiced as it is such a fast grower.
That being the case I don't imagine that the grain would be very interesting and the wood would be quite soft.

I have met it in a previous life and it’s the lack of weight and it would appear in looks to be heavy that got me wondering what it would be like to turn ...
