Just been recommended B7000 to use for sticking tubes into woods for pens. They say its better than CA. Anyone used it.

Never heard of it before now - but I've just googled it and read:

"both adhesive-coated surfaces are placed in contact with each other and sufficient pressure is exerted to establish full contact"

Wouldn’t touch it with a barge pole Glen. It’s a contact adhesive and you can’t get the contact pressure allround to get the adhesion. Wouldn’t use CA either, and as PU isn’t the gap filler that some may think it is, my vote always goes for epoxy, and at that 5 min, as it dries more brittle than slow cures and is easier to sand and less clogging on sandpaper if you trim on a disc sander.
