Can you identify by looks the difference between a Taiwan and a Chinese Sierra etc Twist mechanism.

Glen the links between the two Mainland and Taiwan are interwoven therefore anything is possible in manufacture,I understand many firms are based in both.

I can yes. The Ghinese examples I've seen have a different thread, less precise machining and are generally more flaky to handle and use.
