What an amazing kit the Sirocco is. Really enjoyed working with a more 'premium' kit. Only had one issue, and that was when pressing the clip in. The angle of the actual clip was holding it off the blank at quite a steep angle, and I think any more pressure would have cracked the blank. I'm wondering if I've left the blank with a little too much shape, i.e. too thick. I put some paper towel under the clip so it didn't scratch the blank when pressing it in.

Nice match of kit and finish there Seb.

Could have been because it's a little plumper, however what I use is a piece of tubing (fish tank air silicon tube) popped over the clip prior to when I fit them to any kit. That way it prevents any potential scrathes.

Very nice pairing, lovely depth to that pink...very nice
And I just use a plastic ziplock bag under the clip when sliding it on..... there always seems to be plenty around on the bench:funny::funny:

Good morning from Winnipeg,

The Sirocco is a lovely looking kit although I haven't turned one yet - many Sierras however. I slip one of the little plastic bags which comes with the kit over the clip during the pressing.

Congratulations on a beautiful turn,
