    One of them days

Have you ever had one of those days when everything you touch turns into a disaster? Well, I had one of them days today. Spent eight hours in the shed lost a pen body blank it just exploded on the lathe. lost another cap blank a chunk came off on the last pass. Had all sorts of problems with drill sizes. I ended up at the end of the day with a cap from a Churchill kit in one blank and a nib section also a Churchill in a different blank. So I assembled them together and made them up into a complete pen. It looks OK-ish I can not see anyone wanting to buy it but it functions OK I will just use it my self.

Sometime you just have to walk away and leave it until another day....

Yes Dave, we've all had days like that, but whatever went before, you ended up with a pen, well done.
    Kind regards John.

I just stop and clean the workshop then try again the following day when I can't find anything because I tidied up the day before and the cycle begins all again. At least it all goes wrong in a tidy workshop

To your companion did you happen to see a red coloured tube in your travels?
