Some of the pen kits on Pen State Industries look really nice.
Is there anyone in the UK that are able to supply their items or would i need to order direct from them ?

PSI do not have a great reputation for good customer service and are not very helpful at keeping down the overheads in either postage or customs. I have found that woodturningz who are a PSI dealer are very helpful and are easy to do business with. If you phone them up and say what you are after they’ll help you out by telling you the most economical shipping method, they’ll help out by taking kits out of boxes to reduce space so you can get more in the standard rate boxes and if you ask them to be economical with the customs valuation, they normally assist.

Pencrafts also stock some PSI kits as does Vince from the Turners Workshop, and if you are prepared to wait a bit these guys will normally tag on specials next time they order.

I quite often have a hankering for their bits..... Sometimes you can get in the UK otherwise I just import direct. As Neil said they are easy to deal with, though I have never called them. Just remember import duty and Royal Fail adds to the cost and also buy the bushes at the same time :thumbs:
