Hello,

I am looking to make a few pens out of some historic woods. I have one that I just finished using the decking of the USS New Jersey but I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for sites in the UK that would sell into the US. I found a couple of site myself but I thought I would ask for some suggestions in case there was one that is better than others.

I know of Unique Pen Blanks but that's about it, and I have only visited the site. I have never actually dealt with them as yet.

Thoughts?

A few places have other woods, Taylors Mirfield had some DR Who TARDIS bits and I know our Phil at Beaufort had some wine and whisky casks ( I think he had to empty them first) Vince at Turners workshop has loads of old Conway Stewart blanks if you like rubber:ciggrin:

There was someone selling wood from a London theatre stage that was being replaced but that's all I can remember. Not much help. I know, but might be worth researching.

Cheers
