I would very much like to get the opinions of everyone I gave samples of this finish to at the Newark show.

Some have commented already and the general impression I get is that it was easy to apply and produced a satin finish as it said it would but most people would have preferred a gloss finish.

Thanks in advance.

It did do as it said Walter, and i will use it at times, but like all finishes that i have used i change regular for short times and always go back to the wax that i believe serves me best and that is the Renaissance Wax ...

Take a guess
Have to admit I only tried the finish a few days ago as I'd forgotten about it until I found it whilst sorting out the workshop :rolling:

I found it easy to apply with just a couple of drops going a long way, also the liquid is quite thick & seemed to fill the pours on the open grained wood I was turning though I did give it more than the stated 2 coats.
I would use it again particularly on items that didn't need a gloss finish, I'm thinking of making a light pull & finishing it with the D&M to see how it bears up to frequent use in the humid air of the bathroom.

Thanks Walter for letting me try it & apologies for the slow response but turning has taken a back seat for the last couple of months since we met.:goesred:

It is really easy to apply, and works well on open grained and darker woods.
In fact, some of the pens I've posted recently were finished in it!
