Spalted Apple Wood on a Slimline

I was given this wood quite a while ago telling me it was Spalted Apple Wood, i am still not 100% sure it is? It is on a chrome plated slimline. The center band is made from red home made resin ... 8 coats of CA and polished with Meguiars Scratch X ...

Thats very nice Jim I have a few logs of Apple if you want to try some the heat wood is a lot darker than yours yours may be sap wood especially as it is spalted

Not uncommon for apple to rot from the inside, so could well be apple wood, whatever it is it`s made a very nice pen. :bravo:
