Segmented Omega Fountain pen

Can I ask how you cut your wood for segmenting (ie bandsaw, tablesaw, etc) and what glue you use to glue them up?
I've used a bandsaw in the past, and not been particularly happy with the accuracy of cut.

I'm speechless. It's beautiful. So when you say styrene inserts what do you mean? Could I have used a coke can cut down?

Thanks, used a table top bandsaw and medium ca for the glue.
i use styrene sheets and cut them to size, a coke can is the same principle but the styrene come in many colours and are fairly cheap to use

I spent a long time admiring your pen Johnny its difficult to describe how often the ooh ahhs flowed. There are so many excellent,well conceived and made sections in the most beautiful of creations. Every line a winner.
The repetition in scale used with the timbers, highlights,grain conformation, how you balanced the strongest of pen designs makes this a wonderful contender for the next pen of the week.
I believe this is the zenith of all your pens to date.
