So it's a slimline, but I still think Douglas Fir is one of the nicer looking and smelling pines to work with. Thank you so much to Peter for helping me to get this order sorted - you are a legend!!

That's a superb looking Pen Miles..

Nice shape, finish and fit looks good as well.

Nice to see a slimline in the fray again as we don't see many on here.

no problem Miles you made a nice job of it, purchaser should be well chuffed. They have been lying at the bottom of the shed for a fair bit so at last their being put to good use.

Bizarre isn't it? there is you wanting it (Douglas fir) and the saw mill up the road charges me 10€ per ton of it as fire kindling I use 1 ton every 2 years and it comes in 30 x 30 x 2050 metre lengths!! They only cut Douglas fir!!.
