After all the hassle of losing three blanks, finally managed to produce this Mistral fountain pen in Cherry(?). Finish is melamine - unfortunately, the rushed photo (I had to send it off quickly) doesn't do it justice.

Thanks to Vic for the blank (and the other three I ruined!) and Phil for excellent customer service with the replacement tubes, without which it would have been a much shorter pen :funny:
