Finally finished these up this weekend after a couple of past mishaps with them, a custom request from a colleague at work so couldn't give up and try something else. Lots of lessons learnt considering it's the first burr I've turned (except one test piece) and also the first few pens using melamine lacquer. Still trying to get the finish application down properly, final treatment with extra fine wire wool for a satin effect and then renaissance wax as the final top coat.
