I have been asked on many occasions to do engraving on to wooden boxes or on to pens.

The latter I have always resisted as the pen just becomes another "engraved pen" that can be brought from any big suppliers for a few pence.

I have been working with a friend that has a C02 engraver but has never really got around to using it fully in the last year and saw it as a failed "to buy"..

So I pounced while the iron was hot and now the proud owner of a C02 laser engraver. I have modified it and built my own rotary axis so can now engrave pens if the need arises.

The pen on here is a first go at engraving that I thought I would have a play, especially for@johnny5;:winking: Took less than a minute to engrave. (about 5 mins to set up)

The pen is a fancy slimline with dragon engraving on the bottom section, turned out quite good and impressed so far.

I don't plan to do any specifics or promote the engraving of the pens, however a few specials will do no harm.

Not "just another engraved pen" Eamonn! Now it's a hand-turned pen that has been personalised :thumbs:
