Another practice natural edge base/thingy

Another natural edge firm this one is an apple tree branch from my garden 2.75" at the base and 5" high. Finished with grit and sheen on the outside. Inside is green spirit stain and danish oil. The last not so great picture shows how thin I was on the middle section. [emoji28] Bit more practice and I'll hopefully get that thickness all the way down [emoji16]

That's an interesting effect. It will take a lot of care to get that thin all the way down. Beyond my skills at the moment, makes me nervous just thinking about it. Well done.

Nicely shaped piece Lee :thumbs: was it turned from a "green" branch, or did you dry it out?
