Love the intricate grain. Bought the timber a long time ago ,love the fact I get two pens this way from every blank.

Is that one of the blanks you showed yesterday? Also, what finish do you use?

Yes Paul you will remember I said all three would be rippers. You may not notice but it is CA two coats,it is quite shiny but I photograph using different lighting this time to show the brilliant grain all the way through the timber.I will take another pic to show what I mean in a while. I use three lights or in this case just two.

Back again Paul I have my pic set up it took ten minutes from start to finish this time with the top light on.The disconcerting thing on the camera the card is in the bottom and a mini card at that otherwise I would leave the camera mounted.
