While set up at the Cranbrook gun show this past weekend a vendor who sells high end shotguns asked me what I could come up with for a pen that he can use for customers to sign for payment without damaging the screen.
Made up a Hard Maple Parker style refill.

Clever idea Les but I think you may have been better off using Nylon or PVC rod, less abrasive than Maple.
