As much as anything else its the transformation. A lot of the time I look at a segmented blank and cannot for the life of me work out what it will look like round, and then I see it and am just amazed!

Sometimes it is more luck than judgement as with the side view of the pen above. It is almost impossible to measure & cut
that accurately.
