Lovely pen Ray. You could use teak for the RB if you have any:funny::funny::funny: I can send you some:thumbs::thumbs:
All the best pal.

Craig

Got a good sized lump of Paduak and a neighbour recently gave me a mahogany shelf about 8 ft by 12 inch by 1 1/2 inch so got plenty of choice, wanted to use bolivian rosewood but I cut it to thin for the Laveche blanks :vangry: then the zebrano blanks blew out when drilling :sob: so solved that by cutting longer blanks so when drilled deep enough it was still inside the blank then trimmed to length, so I am saving all my mistakes and plan to trim and glue them when I have enough to make a multi coloured blank block, then just cut bits out of it as and when required

Cheers
Ray
