Just finished this commission which a lady wanted as a present for her husband. It is an Omega roller ball crafted from oak. The pen is finished using Mr Dart's melamine process. She chose the oak due to the story behind it. The oak is part of a salvaged stretcher from a broken pew from my local Parish church at Burgh By Sands. It is believed to be at least 200 years old so goodness knows how old the piece of oak might be. Apologies for quality of photographs.

Very Nice. Its great when there is a story behind a piece of wood, gives an aura to the piece but you must make sure it is written down. Provenance is everything.
