Two slimline pens made from treated pine taken from a crop end of garden decking finished in melamine.
This Pen is long grain.

The majority of my pens when I get to cut the blanks are cross cut for the last thirty years. It requires more care and finishing but both straight grain and cross cut can suit best. Thanks for sharing Bill.

Great pens Bill, just goes to show that with enough skill you can make pens with almost anything. Wish I had the same level of skill!
