    Zeta with my mystery wood

Still have no clue what this wood is but I'm enjoying making a few pens with it.
This is my first fairly successful attempt at a CA finish.

Please feel free to give me any hints and tips for CA finishing. All I did was 3 coats of thin, 2 of thick then sanded from 600 to 3600 and hit it with Mothers plastic polish.
    Cheers,
    Steve.

    Just one more pass......OH Bo***cks!!!

Why on earth is that pen upside down? anyway, Steven, that is a good looking pen. I personally would never use think CA on pens, just thin and medium. A couple of thin, then anything from three to ten coats of medium.
After applying the CA, I would never use sandpaper, just Micro mesh. But of course, everybody has their own methods.
    I hope that helps.
    Kind regards John.

Everybody has their own method for CA application and finishing.
    Nicely done.
Not sure why pen is shown upside down?

Mark gets it. The pen is the right way up, it's the mushroom house that's upside down
