Loving how this Ares has come out.
Wenge turned to shape and sanded, then used a wire brush to open the grain.
Sprayed with white paint and then sanded again before adding melamine finish.

It’s very nice Scott but I think it would look better in its untouched state. Just my opinion of course and not detracting from the excellent turning.

Don’t get me wrong I love it in its natural state.
But already been there and done that.
Wanted something different.

Very nice effect, I’ve done it with various colours. Not sure if I still got photos, pc crashed and are everything a few years back.
