Been saving some from a long and involved process of buying this timber from a dealer there and family friends collecting and sending to me direct from Jerusalem.The exchange cost me 50 US dollars to send the money to the friends in Jerusalem,plus the Taxi from Jerusalem to a semi safe spot to collect in Bethlehem, then postage. Much easier from the sellers these days.

Peter.

Lovely Pen Peter:thumbs::thumbs: I like this wood very much. I've just finished 6 sirocco's and 6 slimlines using it. My blanks took 5 weeks to arrive and according to the markings on the package, they came via Istanbul?? Nice to turn and finish and it shows in your pen.

Regards

Craig

That's a beauty Peter****:thumbs::thumbs:
Someone gave me a piece a few years ago, enough for 4 pens.
This is kind of strange, but my niece has an Olive Tree in her backyard
in, of all places, Freehold, NJ
It's an old tree, about 25' tall. She doesn't take care of it so the olives
get these tiny worms inside. Next time I'm there I'll get a branch.
