After the initial bit of sick went from the back of my throat I had another look to make sure it really was ugly. Yup it is ugly but someone likes it or they wouldn't have ordered it. No matter how ugly something is, someone will always like it... ask John Merricks' mother.

Thanks,
just imagine how boring this forum would be if everyone made the same things :thinks::thinks:

Love the kit love the Olive its the strongest contrast Olive I have seen from there mate keeping us on our toes mate love it personally you know a true confession I possess very little envy and when I see something on display I figure lets look at it dispassionately without predudice. Keep up the variety mate have success selling.

Kind regards Peter.:fingers::fingers:

Well, true, its not everybodys taste, in fact it's not to many peoples taste, but to those it is, I trust they will enjoy it. The Olive wood is lovely and although it has been round the Bethlehem ring road probably originated in Southern Italy as it is forbidden to fell Olive trees in the so called "Holy land".

Im a bit of a minimalist so selling this one to me would be a bit of an uphill struggle, it looks a weighty beast and I think this perception puts me off more than anything. It would certainly be a talking piece.

Ive not used the craft coat, whats it like? how long does it take to cure and can you polish it back after it has set?

One mans meat as they say! I think if the kit was in silver it would look better, but that's my taste.... gorgeous wood though well done!
