That very nice man Vic kindly sent me some Rowan root and a box full of it arrived this morning so I've just popped up to the shed to have a look to see what its like and here is its is in an Epsilon

I notice that in the picture the nib end looks like I've put it together the wrong way round but it isn't and it doesn't show quite as much as it looks in the hand.

I guess many of us in here wouldn't have looked at that wood twice a few years ago .. Good that we have changed or we wouldn't be seeing lovely pens like this .. You two are definitely a good double act .. :winking:

Reminded me of Antler in shapes must have been a challenge Paul I see what you mean about fit your theory seems about right, the material is unknown to me but in keeping with your plan to save every kind of tree etc well done you two.
