Carn,t remember what the blank was called it was Blue something from New zealand it was written on the blank but I forgot to write it down before turning :nooidea:

One of my blanks Geordie, it is Blue Mahoe from Jamaica.
Nice looking pen but as others have commented, the pic doesn't capture of the very odd steel-blue colour of the wood.

It looks goodly enuf as it is but yes you would do well to speak to the pic king Vic.
I don't no expert but would say you could start by cropping the pic so we see more pen less background then tweak the brightness a tad.
Try using a tripod or resting the camera on a book or something to steady it and take away the camera shake element.
Get some new glasses so you can see when it's in focus.

Photo,s were taken on a tripod Brian but I had only had 1 beer some my paws might have shaken a bit camras auto focus but wouldnt focus properly its always a bugger on dark wood more practice needed and a word with Vic thanks for cropping them I,ll remember that for next time :thumbs:
