Fresh off the lathe this evening, a pair of Barons in Trivalent Chrome dressed in stunning Amboyna burr. I've seen the gorgeous pens Jim has done in Amboyna and I've wanted to try it for ages. These are both closed end and it really shows off the beautiful grain.

You done a marvelous job with the blanks Ray, the pens look superb my friend .. I have only used gold and chrome for this wood, but seeing these i won't be afraid to use this plating for future pens made with this wood ..

Beautiful pen mate, I really need to have a crack at some closed end pens.

Im I missing something obvious?...... whats the difference between and Jr Gent and a Baron?

Now those are really special, well done. The closed end really makes the kit very elegant, and that burl is just beautiful.
