If you'd told me youd just completed a jigsaw puzzle of tigerwood and turned it I would have thought of a revolting finish. But this has its appeal, hasnt fully grown on me yet but it fits the design era of the pen in a curious way. Having said that I think the pen is only marginally less vile than when I first saw it on the PSI website, but full marks for the inventiveness of the segmented blank, and within the constraints of my dislike of the recent PSI kits I like the outcome and its beautifully completed.

Over the top too right it is Johnny the sheer amount of effort expended the absolute presense of the pen and combined blank defies description your a genius mate I still have a big slab of Dymondwood and of all the pens (I have ever made I still carry a Slim made from Dymondwood and could have sold it hundreds of times heaps of requests. I find it a pig to work with but I can be certain that this blank of yours will moutlive that pen hands down, mine has been through two separate full washes over time left in my pocket.

Once again you have astounded me.

I don't really get this "like the kit / don't like the kit" stuff. I wouldn't use most of the pens I make, but people pay for them. Get your's into the right art deco environment Johnny and I imagine it will walk off the shelf. I think its a triumph.
