My first Sierra

This is my first attempt at a Sierra twist pen.
I was given the wood but don't know the name - just that it looked interesting
Finished with papers 400 to 1600 sealed with Cellulose Thinners then a wax canoba pollish

Well, Fred, that looks to be a very nice pen! Well done, indeed! Could the wood be maple? Whatever, get round to the bloke's house and get more of it!

Nice looking pen. At first I thought Yew and on second thoughts I still thought yew but then I have been known to be wrong on many occasion:mooney2:.
