My first attempt at a Gentleman's fountain pen and the first time I have used thuya burr. The pen kit wasn't cheap, but I think it was worth the money.

Thanks for the positive comments guys. I am pretty pleased with it!

It might not be saleable, however, because the total cost of kit, bushes, drills and blanks came to £53.35. :shocking: I know that the bushes and drills are re-useable (although I doubt whether I will ever be able to afford to buy more than one or two more kits), but I reckon I would need to ask for between £50 and £60 for it at the craft fair I am attending in November and I doubt whether people will pay that much for it.

However, looking on the bright side, if it doesn't sell, I get to keep a lovely writing instrument!

Bob love the pen superb blank why not go all out with the presentation, how you display that pen separately as a feature , put your best price on it it will have two effects show that you cater to everyone and you have another range of pens giving the public the choice.
