My first Alpha and first time using Chacate Preto, a wood I'd never heard of before buying some at Yandles.

very nice on both counts.

The wood looks figured but subtle- is that correct, or just how the photograph looks?

As my reply,

I like the finish and the wood selection is top end..

However.. There has to be one..

Is it the picture or is it the kit that the top of the clip ring looks "off set" and not central to the rest of the cap.. See my picture to see what I mean..

Just doesn't look right. Might be the way the photo is taken or reflections..:thinks:

It is nice to see the new kit used by a few members over the last few days .. Great looking pen Paul, and like you this wood is new to me also .. :thumbs:
