Had a very nice relaxing play today no rush just plodding along cutting and glueing African blackwood with white plastic inserts on an Omega enjoy

So many variations in the decorative ends Woody apart from the treatment you gave the African Blackwood the combination is outstanding.

A fantastic piece of segmenting Woody and well turned. I hope you don't mind me saying but when you cut the blank in half should you have taken a little more out of the blank to allow for the centre band width, hope that makes sense

Yes see where you're coming from Derek it was just an experiment may be worth another visit this one was segmented in two separate halves
